Presented by Kathy Keary, spiritual director
Circles are an effective communication tool that can be used for many purposes: team building, staff renewal, developing mission statements, strategic planning, community building, healing, managing interpersonal conflicts and disagreements, and bonding among diverse participants.
This workshop will give you the tools needed to facilitate Circles in your workplace and community. It will present and give you practice using the 10 elements that facilitate open and compassionate communication.
You will learn how to help circle participants give voice to their inner wisdom allowing them to reevaluate assumptions and abandon them when a deeper truth surfaces. The key is learning not only to speak from the heart but to listen from the heart. Participants can then take these attributes out into the world healing wounds that divide our communities. Circles foster our connectedness in a diverse world.

An Assembling God’s Puzzle video
By Fr. Garry Richmeier, C.PP.S.
Blowing off steam about everything that is wrong in the world — and there’s plenty of that — can be therapeutic, but if such griping becomes the norm of our conversations and thinking, we can easily slip into cynicism, which is not helpful and doesn’t feel good.
Family Matters by Lucia Ferrara
Family time does not always mean going to Florida every summer; it means creating traditions and making connections that create lasting memories. And that can be done with your family with limited time and without breaking the bank.
