The season of Lent invites us to step aside from our ordinary routines so that we can have a more personal, deeper encounter with God.

I have experienced a longing for God in my heart this Lent. I find myself more eager to get out of bed in the morning and spend some time with God before the other activities in my life begin. More eager than I have been in previous Lents.
