This series draws on two important events in the life of the church: The Synod on Synodality that opens in Rome on Oct. 4 and the Eucharistic Revival taking place in the U.S. church now. To speak plainly, a synodal church is a eucharistic church. The “instrumentum laboris,” the working document, that will guide discussion at the synod when it convenes in Rome calls communion, participation and mission the “three priority issues for the synodal Church.” They are the priority issues of this series as well.
