Precious Blood Fr. James Smith, who is writing his PhD dissertation, delivered a lecture “This Isn’t Your Grandmother’s Church. Will It Be Your Grandkids’?” at the Renewal Center on Aug. 7.
Jennifer Greene, a Kansas City parish pastoral minister and veteran high school theology teacher, responded to Fr. James’ talk and then the two led a discussion of the topic “Continuity and Changes in the Contemporary American Catholic Church.”
About 25 people attended in person and about 30 people joined us via Zoom. The texts of the talks, accompanying slides and a video of the presentation will be available on this webpage soon.
