Equipment you’ll need:
Ingredients:
Directions:
Put 3 cups of semisweet chocolate morsels into a large glass bowl. Add one 14 oz can of sweetened, condensed milk. Mix the ingredients. Microwave for about one minute; stir the contents. Microwave another minute; stir the contents until all incorporated and morsels. Add 1 tbsp vanilla extract; stir well.
Cover the bowl and place it in the refrigerator for about 2 hours. The truffle mixture should be firm but not solid. It should be firm but you can work it into little balls.
Use a small ice cream scoop or soup spoon to form uniform-sized balls of chocolate. Roll them between your palms until smooth. Press in your favorite sprinkles, finely chopped nuts, cocoa powder or your favorite topping. This recipe makes about two dozen truffles.
