To mark the World Day of Prayer for the Sick, Precious Blood Renewal Center will offer a Healing Mass on Sunday, Feb. 16 at 1 p.m.
The Healing Mass is for those with heart conditions, cancer, the frail, the elderly – any sort of illness. The anointing and prayers are for physical and mental healing, and for the soul as well. It’s open to anyone who wants to come, including sick children if they have sufficient use of reason to be strengthened by the sacrament.
Mass includes the Sacrament of Anointing, and also individual prayer with the laying on of hands and a Prayer for Healing Memories, which for some might include experiences of past trauma.

You and I are invited to gaze at the blessed bread and wine during Mass, or later in the tabernacle, and encounter the Son of God. Don’t pass up the opportunity. Gaze through the tabernacle door and see Jesus. This 10-minute meditation invites you into this experience.

Writing to the Corinthians, Paul tells us that “Jesus was not yes one minute and no the next; he was only yes.” This is the new covenant. We “are no longer strangers and sojourners, but fellow citizens with the holy ones and members of the household of God."
