Video: Winter Solstice Celebration 2025

In the Darkness, Find the Light

Even on the darkest night of the year, we still find light.

Standing on firm ground, we seek the light, we see the stars, we find the courage to hope, to wish and to dream.

The Winter Solstice is the longest night of the year and the earth lies fallow. We are drawn naturally into contemplation.

At the Renewal Center, we mark the Winter Solstice with a time of slow, quiet reflection and fellowship.

This is a recording of the Winter Solstice Celebration, “In the Darkness, Find the Light,” held at Precious Blood Renewal Center on Dec. 21, 2025, led by Fr. Timothy Armbruster, C.PP.S.

Coming as it does at this hectic time of year, our annual Winter Solstice celebration has become one of the Renewal Center’s most anticipated events. Come for an evening of renewal.

Our gathering this evening once again included a contemplative walk to the Reconciliation Labyrinth with luminaries to light the way. We concluded with a simple supper and fellowship.
