    A dinner experience for married and engaged couples

    Falling in love is easy. Growing in love together is a lot harder. That is the reality of married life. Real married life is hard, messy and beautiful all at the same time.

    The love you had when you first met — romantic feelings, the mutual attraction, the joy of being together — it was real, and God used those feelings to draw you together. But God doesn’t want you to stay there. You can’t stay there. It’s not enough. God wants to take you deeper. He wants to build a deeper love, a stronger bond.

    Tables for Two aims at helping you explore growing deeper together.

    This evening takes place in a subdued setting with one couple per table. After a short presentation by a married couple, we’ll serve you a five-course meal with wine. Each course includes a series of discussion questions for you and your spouse to pursue, just the two of you.

    Marriage has a way of drawing out the best and the worst of us – and that is all a part of the beautiful process of what God wants to do in you through marriage.

    Reflecting on the biblical story, the Wedding Feast at Cana, Pope Benedict XVI said, “The first wine is very fine: this is falling in love. But it does not last until the end: a second wine has to come later, it has to ferment and grow, to mature. The definitive love that can truly become this ‘second wine’ is more wonderful still, it is better than the first wine. And this is what we must seek.”

    Please join us in this process of deepening and celebrating your marriage on Feb. 17 at Precious Blood Renewal Center.

    Cost: $60 per couple. Space is limited. Reservations will be taken “first come, first serve.”

    This evening is for married couples and engaged couples.

    The Night's Menu*

    Appetizer:  Warm spinach & artichoke dip with pita wedges

    Salad:  Tossed leafy greens with cranberries, pecans and pear wedges with a strawberry vinaigrette.

    Soup:  Ginger miso creamy carrot soup

    Entree: (choose your entree at registration time)

    1. Marry Me Chicken: Chicken cutlets married with a creamy parmesan, sun-dried tomatoes and garlic sauce served over warm mashed buttered potatoes. Bread and butter.
    2. Fresh Vegetables & Rice Frizzle: Fresh seasonal vegetables over rice topped with a homemade warm honey & garlic sauce. Bread and butter

    Dessert: Assorted pie, cake, cookies

    Drinks: Wine, soft drinks, coffee and hot tea
