Thomas Gumbleton, retired Auxiliary Bishop of Detroit, has long served as an outstanding voice and witness for peace and justice in the Catholic Church. From his early opposition to the Vietnam war, his work on the U.S. bishops’ historic pastoral on nuclear weapons, to his peacemaking missions and solidarity with marginalized communities around the globe, and his promotion of reform and renewal in the church, he has offered a prophetic model of faithful discipleship.

Royalties for book sales will go to Kay Lasante Health Clinic in Haiti.

You can still watch if you can’t attend the watch party. Watch the book launch on your own by going to www.sacredheartdetroit.com, click “Live Stream” and then select “July 27, 2023.” Call (734) 693-3743 for more details about the direct live stream.
